In ****, MAHLE with its more than 71,000 employees, generated sales of around EUR 11 billion and with its 160 locations, including 12 large research and development centers, is represented in more than 30 countries.Come join our team at MAHLE#StrongerTogether- Your Role & Responsibilities:- Leads APQP process with suppliers.- Informs Project Development Team (PDT) of potential supplier quality risks.- Supports Project Buyer with supplier inquiries, selection and evaluations.- Conducts component reviews with suppliers (new suppliers/ new components/ critical parts).- Supports Quality function:- Monitors supplier ramp-up (production parts).- Coordinate corrective actions to supplier.- Supplier PPAP.- Supplier VDA 6.3 audits.- Component reviews.- Process audit, and review of PPAP report with suppliers (for APQP level A & B).- Supplier Development according to escalation process.- Development of supplier quality goal agreements to ensure that improvements are established and maintained by supply base; track performance to goal agreements.- Identify potential cost reduction activities/ideas at supply base.Work with buyers to achieve successful implementation of cost reduction ideas.Your Skills & Strengths:- Engineering Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical or similar is required.- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in automotive environment required.- Regional (North America) and global travel - 50%.- Expert level correct action/problem solving ability.- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.- Strong understanding in the implementation requirements of IATF-*****, AIAG procedures such as PPAP, FMEA, etc.- Knowledge of logistics processes and a strong understanding of component and product engineering.Experience in performance system audits, IATF-***** audits is a plus.- VDA 6.3 Auditor certificate is preferred.- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Able to lead meetings.- Ability to work and communicate efficiently in different cultures.- Fluency in English is required.Ability to speak Spanish, Slovenian and/or German is a plus.**Do you have any questions?**Facts about the job**Entry level**:- Experienced hires**Part- / Full-time**:- Full Time**Functional area**:- Purchasing**Location**:Monterrey, MX**Company**:MAHLE Shared Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.Your future at MAHLEAs a team player and someone who thinks ahead, you can deploy all your skills with us.In cooperation with colleagues from different countries and areas, you contribute in designing the mobility of the future.When selecting MAHLE, you choose trend-setting technologies and strategies.Are you interested in working with us and developing efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions, optimising existing products, and turning innovative ideas into reality?Then MAHLE is the right address for you.Shape the future with us.
