Work with a highly motivated team, providing oversight for new and existing facilities.Including compressed air, chilled water and HVAC systems and the GAM team.Provided site support to the Mexico manufacturing site.Position QualificationsThis position is to support all Plants located in Mexico for Ford Land.This position is majority Virtual directing reporting to the NA Ford Land Engineering and GAM teams.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3-10 years of plant experience.If no Plant experience equivalent Ford experience with correct technical skills.Knowledge of HVAC, chiller water systems, cooling towers, heat exchangers, piping systems, compressed air systems, electrical distribution.Strong communication skills both oral and written.Ability to manage external relationships with consultants, contractors, and service providers.Knowledge estimating, scheduling, and construction processes.Ability to read drawings on AutoCAD and Revit.Strong ability to understand and interpret specifications to incorporate them into the design.Support on site during Program Launches in Mexico to ensure Engineering design and implementation.Traveling required for site visits in Mexico only and emergency assistance required approximately 5-15% when necessary only.Must be by-lingual, Spanish and English.Position DutiesEngineering design and implementation responsibilities for new and existing industrial plants and building facilities and modernizations.Work with senior engineers to maintain specifications and design guides for manufacturing facilities.Work with site Safety Personnel ensuring adherence to safety standards.Work with project management team including senior project managers, project managers and project coordinators.Manage relationships with plant personnel, engineering contractors, general contractors, construction managers.Work with Engineering Team and project management to drive cost effective solutions including Value Analysis and Value Engineering actions.Work with EQO to ensure adherence to Corporate and Regulatory requirements.Promote cross functional One Ford behaviors.Work with Global Asset Management (GAM) NA team to assist with supplier tooling and rack disposals where local assistance is necessary with suppliers and scrap haulers in Mexico.Primary liaison between GAM and FoM Legal / Finance teams to act as translator in order to clarify issuesSupport GAM NA with Plant scrap / demo and asset sale projects conducting bid walks and providing advance intel / photos and liaising with local plant personnelSupport launch of the new MX SharePoint site - assist MX implementation team as needed#J-*****-Ljbffr
