Senior CAE Thermal Engineer - Automotive Lighting (FloEFD Specialist)Hungry for challenges?Join a group with innovation at its heart and contribute to the automotive revolutionOPmobility is a world leader in sustainable mobility and a technology partner to mobility players worldwide.Driven by innovation since its creation in ****, the Group is today composed of complementary business groups that enable it to offer its customers a wide range of solutions: exterior and lighting systems, complex modules, energy storage systems and battery and hydrogen electrification solutions.OPmobility also offers its customers an activity dedicated to the development of software, OP'nSoft.With economic revenue of 11.6 billion euros in **** and a global network of 150 plants and 40 R&D centers, OPmobility relies on its 38,900 employees to meet the challenges of sustainable mobility.Contract :Permanent contractProfile :BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldStrong background in automotive lighting systems, thermal management, and product development5+ years of hands-on experience in thermal design and simulation, specifically using Simcenter FLOEFD.Strong proficiency with Simcenter FLOEFD (or similar CFD tools like FloTHERM, ANSYS Icepak).In-depth knowledge of automotive lighting systems (LEDs, optics, thermal challenges).Experience with heat transfer modeling, including conduction, convection, and radiation.Hands-on experience with lab thermal testing and validation.Understanding of relevant automotive standards (e.g., SAE, ISO, OEM specs).Participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and design reviews for thermal aspects of lighting systems.Support thermal validation activities including setting up test plans, instrumentation, and data analysis.Document technical findings and present results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Responsibilities :Design and optimize thermal solutions for LED modules, PCBs, heat sinks, enclosures, and other componentsWork closely with mechanical, optical, and electrical teams to ensure optimal thermal integration across product designs.Analyze simulation results and propose design modifications to meet performance, durability, and safety standards.Develop and validate thermal models through experimental testing and correlation.Perform thermal analysis and simulation of automotive lighting systems using Simcenter FLOEFDCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on advanced technologies in automotive lighting.Collaborative and innovative work environmentCareer growth and training opportunities#J-*****-Ljbffr
