Top 25 nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC (CRI) has increased its investment in the city of El Paso as well as entering the Mexico market by merging in international firm, Jensen Accountancy International, LLC.Given this growth, we are looking to expand our team in Cd.Juárez, Chihuahua, México.**TAX MANAGER - SHARED SERVICE CENTER****Essential Functions**:- Provide a final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of client base- Research tax issues and resolutions/recommendations for those issues- Stay abreast of developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures- Direct, coordinate, schedule and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, coordinating and interfacing with clients to ensure all deadlines are met- Communicate and interface with core engagement teams to ensure the clients' best interests are achieved- Direct and support subordinates' activities to achieve objectives and set budgets by providing necessary resources and creating an enjoyable work environment to ensure quality and high performance- Facilitate the monitoring of the quality of our product and the performance of our personnel- Assign, track and manage tasks/projects that are sent to staff to prepare- Take an active role in developing staff- Manage and oversee time management budget/actual functions- Facilitate and participate in "in-house" CPE and training activities**Requirements**:- Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred- Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience- Oral/written communication skills in English- Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions- Work calmly and effectively under pressure- Prioritize a heavy work load and remain organized- Demonstrated leadership ability- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creativelyCRI unites your professional passions with your individual personal pursuits.CRI works together to build an empowered workplace for every person that steps foot through the door, from intern, to admin, to staff accountant, to partner.At CRI, #EverybodyCounts
