** Enabling a software-defined, electrified future.**- **Mission of the Role**:The purpose of this role is to lead and drive Visteon’s tax operations at federal, state, and local levels. This includes providing technical insights and strategic guidance to enable senior management to make informed decisions on tax strategies and transactions.

** Key Objectives of this Role**:

- **- Transforming Tax Accounting:

- Lead a high-performing team in spearheading U.S. tax accounting operations, ensuring flawless monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Emphasize data integrity and timelines, providing crucial insights to Tax leadership for seamless global reporting.
- Champion the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to streamline processes and enhance accuracy, setting new industry standards.- Tax Compliance Excellence:

- Drive federal, state, and international tax returns for Visteon and its subsidiaries, including various tax credits and reporting requirements to maximize returns.
- Collaborate closely with shared services, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, and Legal to ensure risk identification and mitigation, strict adherence to U.S. tax laws & regulations.- Tax Planning, Forecasting & Reporting:

- Collaborate with leadership to develop and orchestrate tax-efficient strategies, mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions that propel Visteon to new heights.
- Direct annual budgets and forecast tax expense, effective tax rate and cash tax payments.
- Expertly navigate complex tax implications, optimizing the company's tax position and minimizing tax liabilities. Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency in providing financial analysis reports to leadership.
- Support audits for various tax authorities, forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation, ensuring Visteon's continued success in the ever-changing tax landscape.- Building Effective Teams & Stakeholder Management:- **

Qualification, Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Proven track record of providing strategic direction in tax planning and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to integrate tax strategies into overall financial planning.
