The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and closing opportunities within the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) to maximize revenue and position SLS Playa Mujeres as one of the leading luxury destinations in the Mexican Caribbean. This role requires strong commercial leadership, a results-driven mindset, excellent relationships with domestic and U.S.-based clients, and in-depth knowledge of the group market within all-inclusive luxury resorts.Develop sales strategies to attract MICE groups from the domestic and U.S. markets.Manage, strengthen, and expand relationships with corporate accounts, agencies, meeting planners, and strategic partners.Analyze client needs, prepare customized proposals, and negotiate contracts.Conduct active prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, and participate in trade shows, events, and roadshows.Achieve and exceed monthly and annual production and conversion targets.Work closely with Revenue, Banquets, Operations, and Events teams to ensure brand standards and flawless execution for each group.Ensure a smooth transition of each event from sales to operations.Maintain ongoing communication with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the SLS Playa Mujeres team.Manage inquiries, RFPs, and reports using systems such as Delphi, Cvent, and other sales platforms.Create sales materials, presentations, and tools using Canva and Microsoft Office.Update databases and generate weekly and monthly forecasts and performance reports.Profile RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of proven experience in MICE sales within all-inclusive resorts or luxury hotel brands.Solid experience handling group business from the domestic and U.S. markets.Demonstrated track record of meeting targets and successfully closing high-value business.Advanced proficiency in Delphi (required).Experience with Cvent, Canva, Microsoft Office, and other tools related to sales processes and group management.Strong knowledge of the MICE sales cycle, including pricing, room blocks, contracts, F&B, and group logistics.Position RequirementsPosition preferably based on-property at SLS Playa Mujeres.Remote work is accepted only if the candidate resides in Mexico City.Availability to travel as required for sales activities, trade shows, events, and client visits.Additional InformationThe opportunity to join an innovative, fast-growing international group committed not only to building hotels but to creating a global brand.The chance to challenge convention and work in a creative and rewarding environment.Be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences while exploring new destinations at every opportunity.A competitive compensation package with multiple opportunities for growth and professional development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
