We're hiring a detail-oriented, proactive, driven Staff Accountant with 2 + years of accounting experience, preferably familiar with the restaurant industry.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and be fluent in English to communicate with US-based clients, vendors, and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile vendor, bank, and credit-card statements.Process weekly check runs and manage vendor payments.Calculate, file, and pay monthly and quarterly sales, use, and business taxes.Add and code bank and credit-card entries into GL software.Attend client financial meetings.Manage all accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, month-end and year-end close procedures, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Prepare financial statements—income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.Ensure accurate and timely reporting.Reconcile third-party sales, deposits, and commissions.Reconcile payroll clearing accounts and add payroll journal entries to GL software.Required QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (restaurant accounting experience highly preferred; internships accepted).Fluent in English—both written and verbal.Strongly Preferred SkillsProactive and highly efficient.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Experience with US accounting and accounts-payable software (QuickBooks, Intacct, MarginEdge, and Bill).Bonus OpportunitiesProfessional development and growth opportunities.Friendly workplace.Pet-friendly office.Work from home twice a week.Employment type: Full-timeJob function: Finance and Accounting / AuditingIndustries: Financial Services, Restaurants, and AccountingSeniority level: Not Applicable#J-*****-Ljbffr
