Job Function: Finance Why SoftwareONE?:Here at SoftwareONE, we give you the flexibility to unleash your creativity, without limits.We encourage autonomy and thinking outside the box and we can't wait to hear your new ideas., and although all businesses say it, we truly believe in work - life harmony.Our people are our greatest asset, and we'll go the extra mile to ensure you're happy here.We want our people to be their true authentic selves at all times, because that's when real creativity happens...**Bilingual Accountant**Mexico CityThe role:**The Accountant** fulfills an integral transactional and reporting function in the Finance department of SoftwareONE.This role works with all aspects of accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Cash Management, Monthly Account Reconciliations, Month-end close accruals and other special projects as needed.The Accountant will provide support to the entire finance team and will report directly to the Head of Finance (Noram).**Roles & Responsibilities**:- Provide support for the financial information of the organization including daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions/transactions.- Maintain the general ledger accounts by monitoring journal entry preparation; prepare monthly accruals and entries and reconcile accounts monthly.- Responsible for reconciling specific vendor invoices and research discrepancies.- Review and post customer purchase returns, credits and issue refunds.- Responsible for recording intercompany transactions and preparing the monthly reconciliations.- Complete VAR accruals for Canada and International.- Inventory control & Audits - tracking of inventory for shipments, receipts and returns.- Review Inventory and Open Orders - NIVOL & NICOL reports.- Conduct financial analysis and Ad Hoc reporting as required.- Assist with and implement internal audit recommendations as necessary.- Assist with department training and employee development programs.What we need to see from you:**Key knowledge / experience**- 3 - 5 years of prior experience in the Accounting field.- Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable.- Prior experience working with an ERP system - Navision preferred.- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as International Financial Reporting Standards.- MS Office experience required including extensive Excel knowledge.- CPA preferred, not required.**Important**: Experience in large corporations, not just local background: tax, processes, etc.**Super plus**: Experience working for Canada or Noram, or Anglo-Saxon countries.**Your Language Skill**Written and verbal English Skill is a must.**Your personality and soft skills**- Detail - oriented: Must possess organizational skills and strong attention to detail.- Demonstrated creative problem solving skills and decision making ability with emphasis on accuracy.- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.- Ability to meet established deadlines.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.LI-FH1
