Deacero USA, a steel product manufacturer in the mining and metals industry, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team.As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and infrastructure on site.At Deacero USA, we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are running smoothly and efficiently to deliver on these values.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and infrastructure- Oversee and manage the maintenance team, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently- Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance and repair issues across the facility- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs- Plan and execute equipment upgrades and installations as needed- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance and repair services**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role in the mining and metals industry- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems- Knowledge of safety regulations and standard maintenance procedures- Proven leadership and project management skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
