Wire Harness AssemblerLAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking skilled wire harness assemblers for a short term projectin Hermosillo, Mexico.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of complex electronic assembly and soldering operations on low voltage, high voltage, microwave or other components or subassemblies in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards using blueprints, visual aids, wiring lists, verbal and/or written instructions.Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, sonic welder, and wire strippers.Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards.Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products.Prep components prior to assembly, clean components, wire bond, potting, seal, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using hand tools.Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.Capable of being trained across the entire product line and working with Engineering on new or emerging products as well as producing first articles.Follow company guidelines and proceduresResponsible for being an active team participant in teamwork toward continuous improvement.May be asked to perform some of the following offline tasks including quality checks, down-time reporting and housekeeping duties.Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organizationQualifications and requirementsBilingual / fluency in Spanish requiredMust have 5+years of aerospace wire harness assemblyMUST be experienced & ready to hit the ground runningElectronic and Mechanical Assembly experience, including the use of Hand tools and Soldering Iron strongly desired.Must have excellent vision and good hand-eye coordination.Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, and written work instructions, plus have basic math skills and knowledge of measuring deviceProfessional and effective communication skills a mustManufacturing experience preferredExcellent track record for attendance required – we need you hereFlexibility is a must as OT may be required during the week and on the weekendsAbility to use hand and power toolsIPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-620 and/or JSTD-001 certifications are considered a significant asset.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Why Choose LAUNCH?A team of aviation staffing experts leads LAUNCH.We understand the challenges of finding the top aviation jobs and we focus on linking you with the best openings in the most sought-after locations.LAUNCH offers you an ACA compliant benefit package including company-sponsored medical insurance with multiple plans to choose from.Our MinimumEssentialCoverage is offered to every employee who does not have coverage elsewhere at no cost to youLAUNCH also offers a 401(k) program.Plus, you join LAUNCH Loyalty Club on your first day, earning you extra cash bonuses, apparel and safety rewards.If you're ready to LAUNCH your career, you've found an employer that can take you to new heights#J-*****-Ljbffr
