Descripción y detalle de las actividades As part of our manufacturing facility located in Tijuana, Mexico you will join a small team of Procurement professionals whose challenge is to ensure we optimise the performance of our supply chain. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing and supplier management for your assigned commodity. As goal, pricing trends, competitive landscape, quality performance, delivery performance, price data integrity, contract / agreement negotiation, lead time optimization & supplier risk analysis. You will also provide market intelligent for benchmarking and will work to manage and minimize supply base risk. you will also be expected to build strategic relationships within your supply base to support company growth. Work closely with Sourcing, Materials, Technology and Product line teams to execute cost out programs, participate in assigned NPI / CPO programs to support growth and lead programs to reduce supply chain risks. Responsibilities Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations Lead assigned sourcing programs in Gas / Moisture product lines Support / lead project to drive material cost out through negotiation, qualifying new suppliers and supplier process improvements Support NPI / CPO programs as a sourcing participant and facilitate design for manufacturing Own assign the product line and commodity category globally, support / execute aligned programs to build a robust supply chain for business growth and manage key suppliers to continuously reduce supply chain risks Involved in supplier contract negotiation for key material supplies Conduct monthly spend / cost analysis to facilitate intelligent purchases for the business Coordinate efforts between suppliers, engineering and quality team to achieve goals Conduct supplier communication between the company and suppliers on commercial / technical matters Support indirect material / equipment purchase to minimize business cost Coordinate sourcing process requirements to ensure compliance and timely execution Domestic / International travel as needed Experiencia y requisitos Sourcing Specialist for more than 5 years Minimum. Experience - University degree or equivalent qualification - 4 year technical / business degree or minimum 4 years relevant sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to work within an international team - Sourcing, negotiation and supply chain management skills - Ability to build supplier relationship - Experience with international terms of trade and payment - Strong project management and problem solving skill - Good communication and negotiations skills - Ability to work independently - Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Organización Amphenol Thermometrics Giro Maquiladora (Export.)
