**Sourcing Buyer****Responsibilities**:- Procures supplies, materials, services, tooling, and equipment for delivery at specified time or location.- Places and updates purchase orders for NPI launches, manage delivery of products and ensures timely delivery to eliminate potential for backorders and stockouts.- Work with the PMO team to update schedule on deliveries to ensure launch timelines can be achieved.- Work with the Sourcing specialist on capacity planning and equipment requirements.- Manage any subcontracting process.- Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the fulfillment cycle.- Advises team of any actual or potential material shortages. Work with Sourcing and Engineering to resolve any potential issue that may impact launch dates- Ensures suppliers have complete product information to meet product quality standards and deliveries for production and assist with the PPAP process.- Monitors performance of buyer KPIs and develops/executes improvement actions.- Tracks individual complete and on-time delivery (COT) performance, assigns reason codes for order fulfillment failures, and drives actions to improve future performance for assigned commodities.- Tracks and resolves material review board (MRB) parts and resolves supplier non-conformances and cost recovery.**Qualifications**- Experience internationally supplies chain management, or equivalent education.- Minimum 3+ year of procurement experience in Buying/Sourcing- Working knowledge of international trade.- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent experience.- Proficient in Excel.- Experience working with ERP systems or equivalent knowledge.- Knowledge of material requirement planning, inventory control techniques, forecasting, production planning, RFQ, RFP and RFI process.
