Product Quality Engineer – Quality Assurance Mexico. Calzada Manuel Gómez Morín número 3200, Colonia Rancho Hermanos Fuentes, CP 21190, Mexico. Responsibilities Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products. Design testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product and collaborate internally to ensure quality standards are in effect. Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. Identify and manage risk in product development utilizing UPPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans). Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation. Perform escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action for design problems for internally produced products and processes. Ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance. Design and implement product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers. Take responsibility for both program and product quality engineering. Develop new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field. Lean Six Sigma knowledge. GD&T knowledge. Proficient conversational and written English required. Advanced Excel skills.
