For more information, see auberge.com and friedkin.com.What will you do?Be a Thought Partner.Act as a collaborative and strategic partner to the General Manager and the Executive Committee Members for strategizing the hotel’s goals; develop and implement process improvements; ensure appropriate staffing levels; coach performance; and deliver heartfelt service.Lead Talent ManagementAttract top talent by championing the brand’s culture and values; ensure effective staffing strategies with leaders; monitor the local talent pool; identify educational institutions and attend career fairs to build a pipeline of hospitality professionals; create a seamless and inclusive onboarding process for all new Team Members.Develop a competitive compensation structure to attract and retain top talent.Support succession work aligned with the overall Talent Management strategy.Culture CreatorSpend time in each department, attend daily rallys and walking spaces; collaborate with peers and managers to exchange ideas and value every Team Member’s opinion.Create a feedback loop where Team Members’ concerns are heard and acted upon.Build events, recognition programs, and incentive programs to keep Team Members engaged and connected to the brand.Maintain open communication, ensuring messaging aligns with the brand.Understand organizational culture using engagement and retention metrics; identify opportunities for improvement.Learning and DevelopmentLead Auberge L&D initiatives; champion, organize and deliver Team Member trainings; work with leaders and team members to develop service skills and product delivery.Financial Acumen & Subject Matter ExpertiseApply sound financial decision making to ensure budgets support events and programming.Ensure compliance with mandatory laws; anticipate changes in city, state, and federal labor statutes affecting the business and team.Address employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in line with Auberge ENRICH values, fostering a respectful environment.QualificationsA minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR Generalist responsibilities, preferably as a Director within a luxury resort environment.Experience in HR within a hospitality environment preferred.SHRM Certification preferred, though not required.Advanced knowledge of state and federal labor laws, statutes, and acts.Strong HRIS/HCM/Payroll system experience.Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.Additional InformationAbout Auberge Collection: A portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs with a crafted approach to luxury, embracing the locale in design and service.For more information: auberge.comConnect with Auberge Collection on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn @Auberge and #AlwaysAuberge.About Friedkin: Friedkin is a privately held family of global brands spanning automotive, entertainment, hospitality, investments, and sports.
