Sr Sourcing Specialist

What's the role?:**Main RESPONSIBILITIES**- Ensure that requisitions, contracts, purchase orders, vendor profile management are processed in compliance with HERE's policies in tools that HERE Technologies are using.This requires a deep understanding of HERE's ERP purchasing module/Coupa S2P along with contracting, legal, Sourcing policies and accounts payable practices.- Lead a Sourcing operations team in region, provide coaching and mentoring to Sourcing Specialists, help in resolving complex issues and managing escalations.- Lead/support innovative business solutions (Catalogues/Webstores) and enhancements to improve S2P process and Internal SLAs.- Ensure processes and systems are best configured to ensure a user-friendly, efficient, and smooth customer experience, foster/strengthen customer centricity in team's culture.- Reviewing internal key performance metrics and and providing recommendations for process improvements, fostering Customer Centricity.Who are you?:**ENVIRONMENT**- Relatively independent with coaching and guidance provided.- Creative in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.- English speaking environment with the ability to adapt and be inclusive of a global organization & flexibility to attend non-India time zone meetings.dhere and uphold policy and compliance.- Face-paced and innovative environment.- Engage across regions and across teams, Collaborate globally.**Impact DECISION MAKING**- Work with standard procedures and practices to achieves objectives and meet deadlines.- Ensure compliance with HERE purchasing processes and financial controls.- Ensuring confidentiality of the information is protected.- Strong customer service orientation combined with the highest quality assurance standards.- Through continuous improvement techniques, decreases response or cycle time, improve the timeliness of follow-up, and keeps HERE stakeholders informed of changes/updates needed.- 5+ years in a procurement role- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, supply chain, finance, or other information decision sciences.- Demonstrated ability to lead team members and projects.- Experienced in PeopleSoft ERP with focus on eProcurement, Coupa experienced or certified is preferred.- Experience creating, managing, or negotiating contracts.- Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high-quality outputs.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work with and maintain confidential material.- Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively work with all levels of HERE employees.- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have the ability to continually re-prioritize.- Capable of managing projects with milestones and providing status updates- Ability to perform root cause analysis within cross-functional groups- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with English speaking employees- Critical thinking capabilities to assess problems and provide resolutions- Showcases interest in continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends and technology.Who are we?:- The person in the role will:- lead a regional team of Sourcing Operations specialists (AMER region).- create a seamless and delightful procurement experience for customers by maintaining accurate Job Aids,- identify & Implement Improvement/Automation opportunities in Procure to Pay process,- contributing/leading in Special Projects- serve as escalation point- The role requires incorporating lean practices, identifying opportunities for automation, and staying abreast of current/future sourcing, contracting, accounting, business, legal, and information technology security requirements within a highly innovative culture.- In addition, he/she will lead/support special projects including but not limited to compliance/audit, and department level purchasing related activities.- This role directly supports special projects with Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Finance and Accounts Payable.- The person will liaise with requesters, internal & cross functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner, maintain documentation.The person may have to lead/attend audits.
