**Production Supervisor Assistant - Second Shift / Asistente de Supervisor de Producción - Segundo Turno****Location**: Tecate, Baja California, México | Full-Time | On-Site**Department**: Operations / Manufacturing**Reports To**: Production Supervisor / Production Manager**Shift**: Second Shift**About Us**At Nysonian, we exist to build the next generation of global lifestyle brands that redefine how people live, work, and create.Our manufacturing operations are essential to delivering quality, speed, and innovation across every product we produce.In Tecate, we are committed to cultivating a world-class production environment driven by teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.**Role Overview**The Production Supervisor Assistant supports daily manufacturing operations during the second shift, ensuring that production activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.This role assists with coordinating personnel, maintaining workflow, monitoring production lines, and supporting quality and safety compliance.The Assistant acts as a key operational link between the production team and the Supervisor, helping ensure that shift goals are met or exceeded.**Responsibilities****Shift Support & Coordination**- Support the Production Supervisor in directing and organizing daily shift activities.- Ensure operators are assigned correctly based on skills and production needs.- Help monitor attendance, breaks, and shift transitions.- Communicate shift priorities, changes, and instructions to production teams.**Operations & Workflow**- Monitor production lines to ensure proper workflow, material availability, and equipment readiness.- Assist in identifying bottlenecks, deviations, or downtime issues and escalate when necessary.- Ensure compliance with production schedules and support adjustments during the shift.- Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.**Quality & Safety**- Support enforcement of quality standards, inspection steps, and work instructions.- Assist in identifying defects and coordinating corrective actions on the line.- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safety rules.- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or quality issues immediately.**Documentation & Reporting**- Assist with completing production reports, downtime logs, scrap records, and shift summaries.- Support data collection for KPIs such as efficiency, output, and scrap rate.- Communicate shift results and relevant updates to incoming shifts and supervisors.**Team Support & Development**- Provide coaching and guidance to operators on procedures, best practices, and performance expectations.- Support onboarding and training of new employees.- Maintain a positive, teamwork-oriented environment during the second shift.**Requirements**:**Qualifications**- Technical degree, vocational training, or coursework in manufacturing or industrial fields (preferred).- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in production support roles is a plus.- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality procedures.**Skills**- Strong communication and coordination skills.- Ability to lead small teams and support supervisory tasks.- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.- Basic technical understanding of production equipment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.- Willingness to work second shift and adapt to changing priorities.**What We Offer**- Opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding, globally minded organization.- Dynamic and collaborative work environment.- Competitive compensation and development opportunities.
