**Job Description Summary**: The Western Channel Leader will be primarily responsible for conducting the wing-to-wing compliance onboarding, management, oversight including training, communications, due diligence review and monitoring of Channels for the Western Region of Grid Solutions (GS) partnering with GS Americas Compliance Leader.In addition to the Channels responsibilities, this role will play a coordination and content creation approach for Training and Communications for the Compliance function working in partnership with the Chief Compliance Officer of Electrification.The work completed in this role will enable the compliance aspects of Western Channels in coordination with existing commercial and operational resources.Collaborate with business regional leaders to keep Channel Partner metrics updated and with GE Electrification CCO to maintain a control framework.In addition, oversee/manage centrally Compliance Training and Comm's.- Be responsible for understanding the business organization, industry regulations, and policies.- Connect with cross-functional teams to oversee and drive a consistent channel partner onboarding, commission payment management, and post-onboarding control framework.- Work with regional channel and compliance and legal leaders to support operationalization and enhancement of channel partner processes and activities such as onboarding, commission payment reviews and post-onboarding control framework.- Support and identify improvements on channel partner standard operating procedures to streamline processes lead-times; assist in developing data repository, metrics, processes, and tools for the new needs upon channel partner processes.- Provide oversight to performance of designated Channel Partners and work with business team on strategy for low performance channels identifying their gaps and defining a recovery plan.- Drive a culture of highest integrity and compliance within Western Channels business operations, Joint Venture and channel partners processes by enforcing GE and GS standards.- Operationalize and implement the Compliance Training and Comm's Program for Grid Solutions in coordination with GE Electrification Chief Compliance Officer.**Qualifications / Requirements**- University Degree with 3+ years work experience- Minimum 1+ years of experience working in Multi-National companies- English fluent speaker, another language (Spanish, Portuguese, French is a plus)- Strong analytical, presentation and Interview skills- Proven coordination and influencing skills to set/drive an agenda with business + Channels- Proactive, able to manage time and organize and prioritize workload.- Strong ethics, integrity and compliance orientation**Desired Characteristics**- Strong motivation to work in the compliance area- Ability to work independently on assigned projects and tasks- Interacts, communicates and works effectively with business and other team members.- Knowledge of GE Compliance program and Culture- Solid judgment, clear thinker and business sense- Ability to work horizontally to deliver outcomes- Minimum 2 years of audit experience**Please note Work location may be flexible.****Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
