TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties.They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments.They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements.The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment.They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.They also route merchandise to destinations.**What your background should look like**:**Functions**:- Supervises all warehouse activities and ensures the efficient storage and retrieval of materials to the production floor.- Supervises a team of warehouse workers including hiring, delegation of duties, training, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions.- Develop, guide, and motivate personnel.- Ensure all production orders are released to the production floor in a timely manner.- Supervises & reports the daily cycle count activity.- Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.- Supervise maintenance of the companies computerized information system.- Implements and monitors performance metrics for all warehouse areas.- Plan warehouse space requirements to achieve full warehouse optimization.- Effectively coordinate physical Inventory processes.- Works autonomously with little supervision- Seeks continuous improvement in use of storage spaces, development of receipt and delivery windows, in general improvements in the department.- Adopt and promote the preventive measures and Health and Safety procedures established by the Company to avoid accidents or illnesses.- Participate in the implementation and development of the Company's Management Systems, Certifications and Programs.- Perform any other activity required by your supervisor or Manager.**Must haves**:- Bachelor's degree- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacture environment- Experience working with SAP- Strong skills with excel spread sheets- English**Competencies**:- Managing and Measuring Work- Motivating Others- Building Effective Teams- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
