About the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) IFE is a university‑wide, interdisciplinary institute that focuses on education research, design, development, and implementation. It is part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, one of the most prestigious universities in the Global South. IFE hosts over 120 scholars and staff and provides state‑of‑the‑art facilities including an advanced learning analytics laboratory. Position Highlights Competitive Compensation Research Excellence & State‑of‑the‑Art Resources Collaborative and Entrepreneurial Environment Key Responsibilities Teaching & Curriculum Innovation Research & Scholarly Leadership Service, Outreach & Mentorship Required Qualifications A Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal) in Learning Sciences, Learning Analytics, Educational Neuroscience, STEM/Computer Science/AI Education, Engineering Education, Science Education, or related fields. A strong record of research and publication in indexed, top‑ranked journals and conferences. Evidence of teaching excellence. Expectations of grant writing and research project management. Fluency in English for advanced academic writing and teaching. Desired Qualifications Dedicating to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia. Track record of securing research funding nationally and internationally. Experience with advanced research methodologies and learning analytics. Designing interdisciplinary courses that leverage emerging technologies. Recognition through awards, keynotes, or influential publications. Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages is a plus. Spanish is not required; primary language for instruction and research could be English. Employment Details Senior faculty, permanent appointment (no tenure). Start Date: Sept 2025 or Jan 2026 (negotiable). Research time: up to 75% research, 25% teaching.
