At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewPlan, direct and coordinate quality assurance system for manufacturing plants.Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes, methods and procedures leading to achievement of quality objectives.Job RequirementsLead quality and plant team to achieve aggressive plant quality goals such as PPM and cost of poor qualityResponsible for all aspects of quality at manufacturing plantsEstablish and / or implement departmental / corporate policies, goals, objectives and proceduresDaily monitoring of customer complaintsTracking and managing customer complaints through closureLead, manage, and motivate employees engaged in quality activitiesMonitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiencyDevelop, manage and change quality control systems as needs dictate to deliver performance resultsDevelop and manage internal and external quality performance dataUse data driven decisions for continuous improvementUnderstands and directs employees on PPAP submission processPlant lead for ISOcertificationQuick and efficient containment of quality spillsAbility to effectively communicate and negotiate with customersPrepare and report out on quality metrics to plant and corporate staffCommunicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departmentsDevelop, implement, and manage first / last piece inspections, audits, and safe launch processes and dataDirect the tracking of defects, test results or other quality control dataDevise methods, processes, procedures to increase efficiencyDirect plant inspection activitiesPerforms other related duties as assignedPromote and advocate a safe work environmentWhat your background should look likeQualifications1-3 or more years Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment requiredRecord of proven results improving plant level quality metrics related to PPM and costKnowledge of injection molding and metal products desiredWorking knowledge of Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, GR&R, LPAExpert in problem solving tools such as 8D, PPSR, 5 why, trend, pareto charting, data analysisSix sigma green belt / black belt desiredWorking knowledge of cost of poor qualityProficient computer skills - Microsoft, SAPAbility to respond to changes in the work environmentCommitment to company valuesOwnership of plant quality, passion for job, sense of urgency in reaching objectivesLanguage: Spanish, must be able to efficiently communicate in English.Bachelor of Science in Quality or Engineering preferred.CompetenciesSET: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)LocationJUAREZ CHIHUAHUA, CHH, MX,City: JUAREZ CHIHUAHUAState: CHHCountry / Region: MXTravel: 10% to 25%Requisition ID: Function : QualityJob SegmentSix Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, QA, Management, Technology, Quality, Customer Service#J-*****-Ljbffr
