The Role You’ll lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a new Apptegy product initiative that integrates AI‑powered functionality to help schools communicate, engage, and operate more effectively. In this role you’ll combine strong product vision with technical curiosity to bring intelligent, user‑centered features to life, collaborating across Product, Design, and Engineering to connect strategy to outcomes, using data and customer feedback to guide priorities and measure success. You’re a systems thinker who translates complex insights into real‑world impact, leverages AI thoughtfully as one of many tools, and mentors other Product Managers to raise the bar for product excellence. What You’ll Do Product Vision & Strategy Define and drive the product vision, ensuring alignment with company goals, user needs, and market opportunities. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap informed by qualitative insights and robust data analysis, delivering on long‑term business objectives. Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities that improve usability, intelligence, and value while ensuring clear user outcomes. Partner with leadership to set measurable objectives (OKRs) and track outcomes against key business metrics. Execution & Delivery Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring new features are validated, well‑built, and deliver measurable impact. Collaborate closely with engineering and design to translate business goals and user needs into data‑informed product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Define success metrics and build dashboards or reports to monitor adoption, engagement, and performance over time. Ensure AI‑powered features are transparent, ethical, and easy for users to understand and adopt. Customer & Data Insights Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify positioning opportunities and inform strategy. Collaborate with Data and Research teams to turn signals into clear, actionable priorities. Proactively engage with users and analyze usage patterns, NPS, and behavioral trends to extract actionable insights. Use customer feedback and performance data to continuously refine and improve product functionality. Leadership & Collaboration Serve as a mentor and coach to junior product managers, emphasizing data‑driven decision making. Help develop and roll out best practices across the product team around discovery, measurement frameworks, and metrics interpretation. Foster collaboration between product, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment. Stakeholder Communication Communicate product vision, strategy, and results, including data‑backed rationale, to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Present product updates and business cases focused on KPIs, ROI, and user behavior data. Translate complex technical and analytical insights into concise, actionable recommendations and strategic proposals. Who You Are 5+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in B2B SaaS with data‑heavy or AI‑enabled products. Proven ability to use data to drive prioritization and measure success (experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, or SQL is a plus). Strong understanding of how AI technologies can enhance product experiences. Comfortable leading technical discussions with engineering and simplifying complex concepts for broader audiences. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Track record of delivering high‑impact web or mobile products from concept to launch. Passionate about education and motivated by creating tools that make life easier for school leaders.
