**GROUP ACTIVITY****A2MAC1**is the leading provider of data and benchmarking analysis for the automotive industry worldwide and a market leader.**A2MAC1** offers the most comprehensive set of benchmarking and cost calculation solutions used by engineers and designers at every stage of the automotive value chain.This solution enables companies to understand the competitive landscape, improve their innovation capabilities, design automotive platforms, and enhance cost efficiency.Founded 25 years ago, **A2MAC1** has become the industry standard, deeply integrated into its clients' processes.The Group is the main catalyst for innovation and cost savings for the global automotive industry.**ROLE & RESPONSABILITES**Reporting to the Finance Manager Americas and the Global Accounting Director, within the Group Finance Department, the Finance Manager LATAM will be in charge of the following topics.He will be seconded by an accounting executive.The position is based in Queretaro (Mexico).**Local Accounts**- Internalize the bookkeeping functiuns from our local accounting firm.- Put in place the Group ERP (SAGE).Implement a proper mapping between local accounts and Group accounts.- Oversee and manage the preparation of local financial statements in compliance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF).- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of local financial data and records.- Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Maintain and improve the P2P processes within our Group System PROCURIFY.**Operational tax management**- Internalize the operational tax management which is currently outsourced to an accounting firm,- Manage local tax reporting and compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other local taxes in Mexico.- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required tax filings (monthly, quarterly, and annual returns).- Stay up-to-date with local tax regulations and provide guidance to the organization on tax planning and strategies.- Collaborate with legal and external tax advisors to mitigate tax risks and optimize tax processes.- Oversee tax audits and address any inquiries or issues raised by tax authorities.- Optimize, analyze and check the tariffs and custom duties costs for the company.Follow up the duty free program (Immex) implementation and follow up.**Reporting**- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for the Headquarters Group Finance team on a monthly basis.- Provide insights into financial performance, including variance analysis, budget comparisons, and forecasting for all costs.- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with corporate guidelines and local regulations.- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure all financial data is accurately reported.- Assist and prepare budget and forecast for the company: costs, cash-flows.- Ensure that the reporting rules and guidelines are applied : cost-centers, intercompany partnership, appropriate GL accounts to be used.- Ensure that the Group deadlines are met on a monthly basis.**Projects**- Internalize bookkeeping- Internalize tax management,- Put in place the Group ERP.- And any other process improvements, or business integration efforts.**INTERACTIONS**The Finance Manager will be a real business partner for the Operations in Queretaro.The Finance Manager will liaise with the FP&A team, the Group Reporting Team, the IT Finance System Project Manager, the Group CFO.**Requirements**:**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES****Analytical Thinking**:- Excellent ability to analyze financial data and extract meaningful insights for decision-making.- Strong skills in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.- Ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements within finance operations.**Leadership and Team Management**:- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a finance team.- Experience managing teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion of financial processes and reporting.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.**Communication Skills**:- Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.- Proficiency in English for interacting with global teams and reporting to international stakeholders.- Ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to senior management- Feel at ease to interact with the Headquarters teams**Problem Solving and Decision-Making**:- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and take action.- Ability to make decisions under pressure and balance short-term needs with long-term s
