Job SummaryDefine, develop and implement a New Product Introduction strategy, which contributes to all diferent electronics-SMT strategic directions.Serve as the go-to authority on New Product launches in the Electronics engineering side, stay up to date with industry trends and best practices for Printed Circuit Boards designs. Provide expert guidance to leadership,stake holders such as designers, program managers, POM directors by identify and create the gap analysis.Lead the business cases through deep return over investment analysis (ROIC)in order to create a strategic decision for new technologies vs material cost, human labor, etc.Drive organizational changes aligned with the organization metrics and goals, using our shared values and competences, following the Art of ths possible methodology in order to create a solid and self-directed team to operate and improve. To monitor the success and impact of the manufacturing program across existing product portfolio and new product introduction. Translating priorities into operational plans by aligning communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems to ensure that activities yield measurable and sustainable results.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Develop an engineering team in order to support the strategic business growth through the art of the possible methodology and world class engineering for a New Product Introduction. Support that team by defining the strategic goals, activities , priorities and skills needed for a perfect launch.Define a system in alignment with Acuity PDS methodology, in order to ensure the service levels and quality expected in all different PDS phases.Coordinate, create and ensure the correct Quality systems, metrics and tools in all launches.Create a roadmap for NPI engineering to ensure the new technologies needed to ensure the highest quality levels with the highest speed in the market.Create and define the future of Electronics Assembly capabilities by identifying with the designers the new formats, footprints or technologies needed for the different architect solutions.Leads the Electronics DFX strategies to ensure the art of the possible design guidelines implementations.Update Electronics DFX Guidelines which covers Design for manufacturing, testing, quality and automation. Promote DFX guideline accross designers networking.Ensure through different NPI Engineers the correct Capex and Opex analysis in order to get the manufacturing tooling on time (Fixtures, Stencils, Nozzles, etc) with less rework and highest yields.Skills and Minimum Experience RequiredExtensive knowledge of SMT , PTH, Testing Manufacturing processes and technologies.Deep understanding for all SMT related best practices and equipments.Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with plant Directors, VPs and SVPs.Deep understanding for DFX methodology in Electronics Assembly.Passion for curiosity and new technologies.Excellent Administrator to create Bussines Case and ROIC analysis.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.
