Join to apply for the Analyst Controls Engineer role at Dematic.OverviewThe Visualization Engineer Analyst level will have responsibilities including visualization design of material handling automation systems, developing and implementing visualization solutions, and coordinating with project teams.The role may require travel to sites for visualization commissioning.ResponsibilitiesVisualization design of material handling automation systems, working independently with minimal guidance, and coordinating activities according to responsibility level.Responsible for providing visualization solutions and collaborating with the Controls Engineer Lead, Project Managers, System Integration Managers, the customer, and other required areas to develop and implement visualization solutions.Travel to customer sites as needed to support visualization commissioning.Prepare visualization documents such as calculations, design specifications, and visualization commissioning checklists, working independently with minimal guidance.Attend technical reviews to understand the visualization scope, critical scheduled dates, third-party involvement, and special technologies included in the project.Review technical review information (control drawings, PLC code, and related data) to perform visualization design and commissioning.Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.Develop and design multiple projects or single projects with moderate to considerable complexity, on medium to large-sized programs.Support coordination, mentor on standard work, and provide guidance for other less-experienced engineers.Audit and observe improvements in teamwork as part of responsibilities.Tasks And QualificationsSkills and capabilities for the Visualization scope.Design Phase: participate in technical reviews, request project information from the controls team, request licenses for software (Ignition, Iconics, FactoryTalk, Kepware), configure VTool, create areas and dashboards, generate tags, and work with special equipment or third-party software.Server Configuration: obtain server information, test remote access, move software and project files to the server, install software and activate licenses, and configure servers as required.Commissioning Phase: run tool files for quality checks, upload VTool files, ensure 100% quality remotely before site travel, verify alarms and statuses, travel to site to complete visualization commissioning, update layouts to match on-site installation, and validate reports, dashboards, and screen features.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage#J-*****-Ljbffr
