Analyst Controls Engineer

The Visualization Engineer Analyst level will have these responsibilities:- Visualization Design of Material Handling Automation Systems, working independently with mínimal guidance, usually from a professional-level engineer, while also coordinating activities according to his/her level of responsibility.- Responsible for providing Visualization Solutions.- The Visualization engineer will work closely with the Controls Engineer Lead,s Project managers, System Integration Managers, the Customer and the required areas to develop and implement Visualization Solutions.The Visualization Engineer will travel as needed to the site to work on the Visualization commissioning.As a Controls Analyst engineer in Visualization, the engineer will have multiple responsibilities, including administrative tasks, monitoring project execution, and on-site visualization tasks.- Responsible for the preparation of Visualization documents as calculations, design specifications, and Visualization commissioning checklist implementation, working independently with mínimal guidance.- Attend Technical Reviews to ensure complete understanding of the Visualization Scope, critical scheduled dates, third-party, and special technologies included in the project.- Review Technical Review information, as control drawings, PLC code, and complementary information to perform Visualization design and Visualization commissioning.- Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.- Typically has the responsibility for the development and design of multiple projects or single projects with moderate to considerable complexity that are medium to large-sized projects.**We offer**:A Visualization Engineer Analyst level will work on projects on the design stage and on-site Visualization commissioning.This engineer will be able to lead small or medium projects.- Visualization Design activities of Material Handling Automation Systems, using prescribed guidelines and policies.This includes but is not limited to support on the preparation of documents such as calculations, design specifications, test specifications, and Attendance technical reviews to collect required information to perform visualization work.The Analyst Visualization Engineer will support coordination, be a mentor on standard work, and provide guidance for other less-experienced engineers.Audit and observe improvements in the teamwork will be part of the responsibilities of the Analyst Visualization Engineer.An Analyst Visualization engineer will participate in the project staff meetings to collaborate on technical observations for all the visualization projects to pursue on-time and high-quality deliverables.Schedule Meetings with Project Stakeholders according to project Milestones to complete Project deliverables.Professional behavior:Embrace ownership and Responsibility, the Visualization Engineer will demonstrate that he/she is someone who can be trusted to take charge of the work and take initiative, which is essential for growth in any role.Develop the strategic agility to see the big picture, anticipate problems and opportunities, and align work with business objectives.Develop Project management skills, effective task organization, meeting deadlines, resource management, and technical leadership within projects.Business acumen, understanding how engineering decisions impact costs, profitability, and market competitiveness.**Tasks and Qualifications**:Skills and capabilities for the Visualization scope.Design Phase:1. Tech review, attend the tech review where the Visualization engineer is available to request project information from the controls team, including programs, drawings, builder aliases, delivery dates, access, and server information.2. Request licenses for the software to be used (Ignition/iconics/factorytalk/kepware).3. Log in to Maestro, load the project, and create the.json file for the VTool.4. Import the.json file into the VTool.5. Create areas, assign objects to each control area, assign operational areas, and create dashboards.6. Generate and link the generic GDF to the VTool.7. Create tags for each device in the project, following the AOIs from the PLC program, and generate their objects in the GDF (make any necessary adjustments).8. Create tags for the cabinet.9. Work with any special equipment or third-party software if included in the scope (flexsort, DMS, RapidPal, monorail, stackers/destackers, robots, etc.).9. Extract files for the workbench on the server (assets and alarms).10. Convert GDF to a mobile HMI version for the server.Server Configuration:1. Request server information (IP) and access with the support of controls/customer IT.If necessary, request credentials for access.If it's a Dematic server, we must already have the information.2.
