Functional Test Lead en CAPGEMINI MEXICOAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Functional Test Lead with a strong background in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The ideal candidate will lead our functional testing efforts for a client, ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products.Required Qualifications· 8+ years of experience in functional testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.· 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry.· Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.· Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar.· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Strong communication and leadership skills· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the functional testing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring alignment with project goals.Develop and implement functional testing strategies tailored to P&C insurance applications, based on business and technical requirements.Design, execute, and maintain test cases, including manual and automated scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of user stories.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure thorough testing across systems.Manage defect tracking and regression testing, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and stability.Continuously improve testing processes, stay current with industry best practices, and report progress and results to stakeholders.What you will love about working with us:At Capgemini Engineering we're always looking ahead.
