Company: Mercer – Cloud Data Engineer LeadLocation: Mexico City – Onsite 3 days per weekWhat can you expect?Lead a talented team building data ingestion and transformation pipelines in the cloud, delivering data platforms that support a growing data volume and complexity.ResponsibilitiesConceptualize and implement comprehensive data ingestion and processing capabilities that support the New Data Platform.Lead technical delivery and build reusable and scalable data pipelines and APIs.Work closely with source system and application teams to integrate data pipelines using Databricks, S3 and other AWS services.Understand the data landscape and collaborate with platform teams to improve data collection, quality, reporting and analytics capabilities.Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools.Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing and QA.Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, document problems and implement preventive measures.Demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving skills and proactively prevent issues before they affect business productivity.Actively contribute toward a culture of continuous learning by evangelizing best practices globally.QualificationsStrong communication skills.Project management experience and data engineering technical skills.Basic understanding of big data, Databricks, and AI support.Advanced English proficiency.People management skills and technical expertise.Benefits & CultureUnlimited access to Udemy courses for continuous learning.Generous vacation, floating holidays, sick days and national holidays with early dismissal.Hybrid work flexibility with onsite collaboration.Employee Resource Groups for networking and mentorship.Interviews will be held in English.Send your CV in English for this role.Marsh McLennan is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
