Astute Electronics is a leading global distributor of electronic components.Established in ****, for over three decades, Astute has been a trusted partner to many of the world's largest, most respected defense Primes, OEMs and electronics manufacturers.We have sales support/offices across four continents and more than 170 staff worldwide, and we're looking for enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, experienced sales-people to help grow our team in Guadalajara, Mexico.Continue reading for more information on our inside sales position - Internal Sales Executive (ISE).The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for managing a set of assigned core accounts while developing new ones with a focus on exceeding both individual and team gross profit (GP) goals.The ISE will determine the proper customer engagement strategy along with appropriate customer contact frequency to gain market share.As a pure trader, buying and selling, the ISE is responsible for qualifying and prioritizing all opportunities, and liaising with the sourcing/purchasing department to ensure proper supplier selection and purchase price.The ISE is the primary owner of meeting customer delivery commitments and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Demand creation for all Astute service offerings- Prompt response to all request for quotes (RFQs)- Defend and grow business with assigned customer base- Expand business with target accounts, obtain AVL/PSL status- Efficient and intelligent sourcing and negotiating- Determine proper resell price on customer quotes- Maintain healthy margins and optimize when possible- Occasional travel as business requires- Develop shared customer strategies with Field Sales Executive (FSE), and ensure execution- Strive to achieve and exceed individual GP targets- The_- _- job title does not define or limit_- _- the_- _- work_- _- required_- _- and_- _- the employee_- _- shall undertake such duties in relation to the company and its business as may be required from time to time.Typical working hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday as well as those hours necessary to get the job done.Note: There may be elements of external/outside sales and business development in this role, with opportunities to travel and meet with business partners in person._**Benefits**:
