Sr Financial Analyst

**What's the role?As Sr Financial analyst you will become part of the global Finance and Control team based in Mumbai.You will be an integral part of process innovation and implementation and drive HERE's finance function further down the path of automation and reporting excellence.You will have the opportunity to help create and implement new reporting, forecasting and planning practices as a key member of the new corporate finance center of excellence.In this role, you and the global corporate finance team will implement best in class methods for the forecasting of key business drivers.You will partner with a fast paced and high performing finance team to ensure we meet our short-term and long-term objectives.You will also interact on an ongoing basis with Accounting, Sourcing, Treasury and business finance leaders in addition to other cross-functional teams located across the world.**The key responsibilities and expectations of this role are as follows**:Serve as key contributor within a central hub of business group reporting to HERE's leaders and internal stakeholder while partnering with business finance leaders to implement best in class solutions that drive greater transparency and business insights across HEREHelp to Implement best-in-class reporting financial models that enable standardization and automation; historical and current year fact-driven analysis will be the foundation of what you and others on your team will practice every day- Ensure the organization has a robust cost estimating process in place to meet business requirements and in line with quality standards- Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunitiesMonitor and review data and information to detect and assess problems and make recommendations to resolve issues- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance- Work in conjunction with and engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and implement cost engineering activities in the business- Stay up to date with changes and support stakeholders with project changes ensuring all associated costs are identified and tracked against the budget- Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs- Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure purchasing strategies are maximised**Who are you?**:**Expectations and qualifications for this role**:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area (economics, finance, accounting, business administration or other)- Ability and willingness to learn and practice that newly acquired skillset in your day-to-day activities5+ years of relevant experience- Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to draw out conclusions from large, complex data sets and bridge information across systems, formats and financial statements- Experience with new processes and learning new toolsetsHERE is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.**Who are we?**:HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company.We empower our customers to achieve better outcomes - from helping a city manage its infrastructure or a business optimize its assets to guiding drivers to their destination safely.At HERE we take it upon ourselves to be the change we wish to see.We create solutions that fuel innovation, provide opportunity and foster inclusion to improve people's lives.If you are inspired by an open world and driven to create positive change, join us.Learn more about us.Watch Video
