OverviewJob Description Quality Engineer monitors and audits the quality of all manufactured goods across a variety of process steps. They work to not only find defects, but also to find the cause of the defect and develop a solution. The quality engineer monitors, tests and inspects products to make sure they meet specified standards. They are responsible for the continuous improvement of the materials, mechanical and electrical systems.ResponsibilitiesLead interdepartmental teams in quality continuous improvement, providing concrete solutions.Investigate and document findings in the production lines.Establish quality criteria for the finished product inspection, subassemblies, rework, processes and documents.Monitor and validate the processes of new products.Document and follow up on material issues with internal or external suppliers.Participate in the solution of preventive and corrective actions for products and processes.Support and assist on the findings related to the quality auditor’s surveillance audits.Support the quality system.Follow up and provide permanent solutions to the corrective actions from customer complaints (DOA).Coordinate the purge process of the different materials with supplier problems.Keep Control Plans up to date.Participate in PFMEA updates frequently.Qualifications5+ years of experience in Quality / LSS / QMS (Standards certification is a plus).Electrical/Electronic/IT Engineering degree (Master is a plus).80% English.Experience interpreting schematics, mechanical or optical outlines.Experience with ISO/TS/IATF 16949 standards.Experience with IPC standards.Focused and good at building up customer presentations.Product engineers address and drive product knowledge for analysis and understanding of the electrical, mechanical, optical or environmental design of the product and its interaction with expected product performance; responsible for providing technical guidance for BOM preparation and problem resolution of product characteristics.Experience in electrical/electronic failure analysis (RF is a plus).Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (Master is a plus).Note: Sanmina empresa transnacional, líder en la manufactura electrónica está comprometida con la promoción y acción a favor de la igualdad de oportunidades entre hombres y mujeres con o sin discapacidad o en alguna situación de vulnerabilidad o no; promoviendo a la NO discriminación durante todo nuestro actuar y teniendo las mismas oportunidades de ingreso, desarrollo y permanencia en el empleo. #J-18808-Ljbffr
