Legal Team Lead Latin America

Mexico City, Mexico- Full time- inDrive is creating a legal hub in Latin America - our biggest region of business activities - and we're looking for a legal professional, who will lead the team.**What you will do**:- legal support and advice to the company in the field of applicable law in the countries of presence in LatAm region (consumer protection law, advertising law, e-commerce law, personal data law, intellectual property law, etc.);-- monitoring and analysis of legislation, development of recommendations and necessary product changes, risk analysis;-- participation in business scaling, launching new business areas;-- representation in courts and state bodies, conducting claims and lawsuits, preparing complaints, letters, reviews, statements;-- close interaction with GR teams, finance department, tax department;-- contractual work: development and analysis of forms of contracts (license agreement, public offer, loan agreements, provision of services, etc.) and other legal documents used in the company's activities, support of large contractual projects;solving non-standard problems of users and employees requiring legal attention.**What we expect from you**:- You are a good fit for us if you are a team player: you can be both a team member and a team leader; you have experience with the product and were responsible for the legal part of the product; you're ready to hear the business, work with it and offer cool creative solutions; you have a strategic mindset, and are able to look at the problem from above.- working experience in a tech company is required;-- at least 3 years of experience in personal data protection, intellectual property, litigation;-- experience in working with legislation of Latin America region, search and analysis of information;-- work experience in the field of tax legislation is preferred;-- English proficiency;-- high level of responsibility and self-organization;-- high level of independence and initiative;-- flexibility and critical thinking.-- project management skills.**We offer**:- hybrid work schedule with the possibility of part-time remote employment;-- unlimited opportunities for professional and career growth, regular external and internal training from our partners;-- partially or fully paid additional training courses, including English classes;-- the opportunity to become part of an international team of professionals who create one of the greatest success stories in the global IT industry;-- initial training;-- probation period up to 3 months;-- working hours: from 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday and Sunday are days off.
