Programmer – AVI-SPL MéxicoWe are seeking an experienced Programmer to develop and maintain control modules, interfaces, and embedded systems for AV installations.ResponsibilitiesCreate control modules, control code, and user interfaces.Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code.Test integrated systems and troubleshoot problems.Demonstrate completed systems to clients.Produce end-user and programming documentation.Maintain and update programming code in installed systems.Manage control code in a version control repository.Track issues, deploy releases, and collaborate using a dev-ops platform.Travel to job sites as required.Adapt to evolving priorities and take on additional tasks as needed.Qualifications – Must HavesProficiency with test/calibration equipment and programming languages.Skill in uploading/downloading software in embedded systems.Experience in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC).Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Capability to diagnose and test complex system problems.Advanced computer skills for design, configuration, optimization, and operation of AV equipment.Independent work ethic with deadline-driven mindset.Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Minimum 2 years as an AVI-SPL Associate Programmer or 3 years comparable experience.Certifications: Crestron CTI-P201 or AMX Control Programmer Associate (or equivalent); Crestron Technician Fundamentals (CTI-CTF) or equivalent; AVIXA Essentials of AV Technology (or equivalent).High-school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license and a motor-vehicle record that meets AVI-SPL standards.Qualifications – Nice to HavesFormal education in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field.CTS (Certified Technology Specialist).Experience with C#, JavaScript, Lua, Python, HTML-5, PowerShell, Git.Experience with enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx, etc.) – hardware and software.BenefitsMedical benefits, including vision and dental.Paid holidays, sick days, and personal days.Dynamic company culture.Training and professional development opportunities.AVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability status or membership in any other protected group.Location: Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, MexicoSalary: MX$15,****** – MX$15,****** (current) – posted 3 weeks ago.Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information Technology, IT Services and Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
