The Cost Account Analystis responsible for maintaining accurate cost records, ensuring the timely closing of cost-related accounts, and providing analysis to support management decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly Cost Registration: Review and validate cost vouchers and payment documents.Ensure accurate and timely period closing in SAP.Monitor and trace cost data, ensuring proper inventory control in the system.Follow up to resolve discrepancies or system issues.Cost Process Optimization: Collaborate with operations and IT to improve cost tracking processes.Identify potential cost impacts based on business growth.Support initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reporting accuracy.Cost Analysis & Reporting: Prepare detailed cost analysis reports for management to identify cost reduction opportunities.Monitor component and product cost trends, identifying potential risks.Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data inputs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Maximum 2 – 4 years of experience in cost accounting, desirable in the automotive industry.Knowledge of SAP.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).Professional English global teams.Job DetailsEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Finance and Accounting / AuditingIndustries: Motor Vehicle Manufacturing, Alternative Fuel Vehicle Manufacturing, and Retail Motor VehiclesLocation: Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, Mexico#J-*****-Ljbffr
