of our employees have been with SSOE for 10 years or more.- 15% - percentage of employees with tenure exceeding 15 years.- 99% - our CEO's approval rating on Glassdoor.- 98% - portion of our clients who say they would recommend us to a colleague.AI and Innovation:As part of our commitment to innovation, all team members will be trained on Microsoft Copilot and empowered to use it as a core tool in their everyday work.Responsibilities:The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing.Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.- Develop and review low- and medium-voltage electrical designs for building and industrial/commercial facility projects (drawings, one-line diagrams, layouts, conduit routing, etc.).- Perform electrical calculations (load calculations, short-circuit, protection coordination, voltage drop, etc.) using specialized tools and spreadsheets.- Prepare and update technical specifications, load lists, and equipment and material lists (BOM).- Model and/or review models in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM) to ensure proper coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, civil, etc.).- Address comments from internal quality reviews (QA/QC) and from clients, making the necessary design adjustments.- Participate in coordination meetings with local and international multidisciplinary teams, mainly for U.S. projects.- Provide technical support during bidding and construction phases: responding to RFIs, reviewing vendor and contractor submittals, and supporting clash resolution.- Be responsible for the technical development of the electrical discipline on assigned projects, from conceptual phases through detailed design.- Keep project documentation up to date in SSOE internal platforms and project management tools.- Coordinate closely with project leaders, project managers, and discipline leads to ensure compliance with schedule and scope.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, templates, and best practices for the electrical discipline in the business unit.Qualifications:What You Will Bring:- Bachelor ´s degree in electrical engineering, electomechanical engineering, energy engineering, or related field.- Professional license in Mexico is required (Cédula Profesional).- Five to eight (5 - 8) direct years of experience in same activities / responsabilities.- Experience with electrical calculations: load calculations, short-circuit, protection coordination, and voltage drop.- Knowledge and application of electrical codes and standards applicable to building and facility projects (for example, NEC / NFPA 70, NOM-001-SEDE, NOM-STPS and other U.S. codes when applicable, as well as local regulations).- Proficient use of AutoCAD for drawing development and review.- Experience with Revit MEP/BIM (modeling or reviewing electrical models).- Advanced English.Desirable Skills: - Emergency and backup power generation systems: generators, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).- Proficiency with specialized electrical analysis software: ETAP, SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, DIALux, AGi32, or others as applicable.- Knowledge of sustainable design criteria and certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.) applied to electrical systems.What We Bring:- Monthly based gross salary -
