Learn more today www.bendix.com/careers JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: This position is responsible for support of General Ledger, specifically for month end /yead end closing, account reconciliations and analysis and financial reporting. This position will also assist Accounts Receivable department with special projects and initiatives. Essential Functions: Account reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, analysis and issue resolutions related to those accounts Month-end/year end close activities including journal entries, corporate reporting and IFRS package preparation Inter and intracompany eliminations, reporting and reconciliations SAP month end processing including assessments, allocations, and foreign exchange valuation. Assist with IFRS reporting packages preparation Communicate to central finance team on status of monthly closing including the preparation and submission of SEM German GAAP reporting Assist other areas of finance (primarily AR) with various projects and initiatives Assist with KMPG (interim/final) audit requests Special projects as assigned by manager Knowledge: Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and deep understanding of account reconciliations, accounting principles and procedures. Experience: 1-4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment. SAP or other ERP experience strongly preferred. Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel). Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management. Advanced independent analytical and problem-solving skills. Shows commitment to process improvement. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field required. Accounting strongly preferred.
