About The Role We are looking for an AML Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team on a Fixed Term Contract for 1 Year. You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective compliance service and for promoting and assisting the company in meeting its regulatory obligations. The role requires ensuring effective compliance risk monitoring and regulatory advisory service is provided to all areas of the SS&C business, management companies, and auditors. It also requires regular liaison with various operational departments at group level, business partners, sister companies, delegates and auditors. Finally you will support your team in monitoring the AML/CTF regulatory framework to ensure relevant compliance risks and requirements are captured and actively communicated across the organization. Your Team You’ll be working within the Compliance department and directly reporting to the Line Manager, Head of Compliance AML. Your Responsibilities Actively follow AML‑CTF regulatory developments, participating in relevant meetings and provide updates and analysis of impact on Transfer Agency to the Head of Compliance, team members, SS&C ASL management and staff. Support the SS&C ASL Compliance AML‑CTF program to identify, analyse and prevent compliance risks within IFDS business activity. Review PEP, high‑risk and correspondent relationships and provide day‑to‑day compliance assistance on request from the business teams. Support gap analysis for each AML‑CTF regulation/law reviewed to assess impact on the Transfer Agency business and ensure all related actions are followed up until completion. Support the review of regulatory training materials. Perform sensitive and/or complex AML‑CTF investigations at the request of the Chief Compliance Officer or Head of Compliance AML team. Support the review of Compliance AML Risk Assessment within annual deadlines. Manage and deliver internal and external reporting within deadlines. Ensure audit or compliance open points are closed out in a timely manner. Respond to management, staff and client relationship queries in relation to regulatory matters. Assist your team to manage and deliver internal and external reporting within deadlines. Assist your team to solve compliance issues related to the Business and Compliance team. Represent SS&C ASL Compliance in regulatory and client forums. Ensure culture and behaviours are aligned to achieving regulatory and risk excellence. Your Profile Degree in Law, Finance or Business. Compliance qualification/certification in general compliance and/or AML. Minimum 5 years experience in an AML/CTF analysis role in financial services, preferably Transfer Agency. Good understanding of EU and local rules and regulations. Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi‑task and work calmly under pressure. A clear and analytical, methodical approach to problem‑solving; organisational skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks to share workload; meet tight deadlines with initiative and a team‑oriented spirit. Excellent communication skills – fluent in English (other European languages are an added value). Collaborative approach with strong emphasis on delivery and execution. Excellent planning and coordination skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Proactive, organised, self‑reliant, flexible. Member of the Association of Luxembourg Compliance Officer (“ALCO”) is appreciated.
