Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.Role Overview: As a Regulatory and Compliance Expert, you will uphold and enhance our compliance standards by integrating deep knowledge of Swift's operations, products and services with the latest regulatory frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to work across functions to ensure compliance is embedded into the business and to maintain Swift’s reputation for excellence in regulatory practices.Key Responsibilities:- Be part of the virtual team monitoring regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations, policies and procedures.- Proactively identify compliance risks and collaborate on developing robust solutions to address these.- Establish and maintain effective internal compliance controls, draft new controls as necessary, and ensure alignment with audit, risk and regulatory standards.- Conduct periodic reviews and testing of compliance controls, reporting gaps and recommending corrective actions.- Maintain and strengthen internal communication to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Foster a culture of compliance and accountability throughout the organization.- Engage with various teams to facilitate understanding and implementation of compliance practices across the organization.Required Qualifications and Skills:- 5-10 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial sector, with a strong focus on regulatory frameworks.- Thorough knowledge of legal and regulatory environments, particularly those impacting financial services (DORA, NIS2, ISO27001, etc.)- Demonstrated ability to manage complex compliance initiatives with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting clear and persuasive messages for a variety of audiences.- Integrity, high ethical standards, and a commitment to discretion.Desirable Skills:- Familiarity with Swift’s control frameworks and an understanding of the 3LOD model of governance.What we offer- We put you in control of career- We give you a competitive package- We help you perform at your best- We help you make a difference- We give you the freedom to be yourself- We give you the freedom to be yourself.
