At Johnson some responsibilities listed may not be assigned SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIESManages a team of Engineers and Technicians.Is responsible for the complete direction and evaluation of his / her work team.Directs his / her team according to the applicable policies and laws.His / her responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing their work, monitoring their development, rewarding and discipline employees, assign complaints and solve conflicts.Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelResponsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good conditionResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and proceduresPerforms other duties assigned as needed Qualifications :Engineering, any specialty.Master's in science is recommendable.More than 9 years of experience and training in the Medical Industry preferably.More than 5 years of experience or training in a similar position preferablyKnowledge of the requirements of Quality Systems like ISO or QSR.Must possess a clear theoretical ability and practice of fundamental engineering techniques applicable to the function of supervising.Shows a profound technical knowledge of equipment and maintenance systems of installations, as well as equipment calibration standards, tools and documentation control systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.Ability to use computers and software related to the activity.Ability to manage projects, limits, scopes and terms, knowledge of the principles and methods, tools and techniques of Project Management.Excellent oral and written abilities in Spanish and English.Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement world-class manufacturing practices like JJPS that include lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, among others.Knowledge of financial concepts applied to manufacturing, which include budget and cost control.Team work and collaborationRequired SkillsPreferred Skills : Benchmarking, Developing Others, Facility Management, Inclusive Leadership, Leadership, Leading Change, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Lean Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Flow Management, Performance Measurement, Predictive Maintenance, Product Design, Safety-Oriented, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Application, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Talent Management, Team Management#J-*****-Ljbffr
