**Position overview**The position requires, day to day operational support for requests and incidents on all network related aspects involving multiple technologies such as: wireless, switching, routing, sdwan, and high level protocol understanding such as: dns, dhcp, ftp, and others.Also, engineer will be part of an on call rotation with the rest of the team.**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:- Fulfill requests on all network technologies, in a timely manner using ITIL based principles.- Troubleshoot highly complex issues at the network level, and escalate issues accordingly to other technical teams if needed.- Create and maintain documentation for all network related design changes, using multiple tools like Visio, SolarWinds Network Atlas.- Work directly with customer or other technical teams to resolve from simple problems to highly severity incidents adhering to SLAs.- Be part of our on call rotation for the weekend to support high severity incidents.- Work in ServiceNOW in a daily basis using ITIL best practices.- Be willing to learn, specially on the automation realm, some knowledge of python would be a big plus.**Qualifications****Must have Skills**:- Advanced Wireless experience using Cisco products, mainly Cisco WLCs, Cisco Catalyst **** WLC.FlexConnect vs CAPWAP, Ability to troubleshoot wireless, understanding of signals, roaming, ******/a/c/n/g/b.(>4 years)- Advanced Routing and Switching.EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, distribute lists, filtering, advertisements.VTP, HSRP, STP, AutoQoS and Voice Vlans.(>4 years)- Great understanding of traffic engineering concepts, QoS, DSCP, CoS, congestion avoidance and queues.- Good understanding of SDWAN specially with Viptela- Good communication skills written and verbal, as this position requires customer facing.**Nice to have, but not required**:- Basic understanding of automation concepts.Cisco DNAC, basic bash or python scripting is a plus.- Basic understanding of protocols like DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, FTP, AAA, Radius, etc.- Ideally can take and dissect wireshark packets for troubleshooting.**Education Requirements**- Proffessional level certification (>CCNP, CCNP Wireless, CWNA, CCIE, etc.) is a must, although experienced individuals with expired certifications will be considered.**Job Segment**:Network, Cisco, Consulting, Telecom, Telecommunications, Technology
