Bermúdez Industrial Park #****, Calle.Joule.Cd.Juarez, Chih., C.P. *****Bilingual (English/Spanish)Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.Requires a broad knowledge in data base maintenance and system analysis alongside a general knowledge in various technical fields such as electrical, Industrial or mechanical engineering.Use Microsoft Access and knowledge of Programing languages such as Visual Basic and/or similar.1- 2 years with background in data base maintenance and system analysis in an electronic component manufacturing or testing environment.Location Bermúdez II Plant, Antonio J. SUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible for review, design and implementation of test capability including equipment, fixtures, test methods and test limits to assure precise, error free, efficient testing.Directs testing of Vishay products in accordance with military, customer and corporate engineering and Quality department specifications.2.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S):Reviews military, customer or test plan specifications, method, and limits, and provides quotations of testing capability, test plans, costs, turnaround and schedules.Maintains contact with internal customers by phone, correspondence, and direct interaction, and with Vishay customers by interface with Engineering and Quality Control personnel.Identifies need for design and implementation of test capability including equipment, fixtures, setups, calibration, training, and performance of all product tests in the Test Lab.This includes power distribution, electronic controls, recorders, data acquisitionand all types of mechanical and electrical test equipment and test fixtures for Vishay products.Under supervision, develops, implements, and executes a variety of system administration tasks for daily operations of the Reliability Test Laboratory network system.Performs diagnosis, and resolves technical incidents that affect computer systems, telephones, and networks.Develops and executes a collection of analysis and operational information reports to be used in the maintenance, adjustment, planningand improvement of current systems.Develops and maintains documentation for the operation of the network infrastructure procedures and standards.Identifies the performance maintenance needs of all Test Lab equipment to see thatobjective evidence of controlled and monitored testing is part of the data collected.Initiates and/or participates in test method or test capability design improvement on a continuing basis to maintain state-of-the-art product testing or to improve efficiency or accuracy.Responsible for identifying the proper Test Lab equipment involving the use of mainframe computers, minicomputers; PC controlled reading stations, terminals, software, printers, and LAN networking with various interfaces.Establishes test procedures and assists in test method and test requirement interpretation to meet all military, customer, and Vishay internal specifications for testing Vishay products.Directs daily Vishay product testing and interacts with all activities of Test Operations Supervisor, Test Facilities Engineer, other Test Engineers, and Test Technicians in the planning and performing of tests.Maintains close involvement with supervision and performance of special test plans for customers.Retains technical responsibility for the test portions of all reliability, product improvement, special evaluation, and quality monitoring programs.3.OTHER PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:Works closely with other Test Engineers, the Test Facilities Engineer and the test operations supervisor to maintain daily Test Lab operational capability and to enhance the continued growth, improvement and addition of new test capability.Coordinates with the Test Operations Supervisor, other Test Engineers and Test Technicians the best timing for incorporation of new military specifications, amendments, and revisions into the Test Lab operations.Assists the Test Lab Manager and Test Technicians in the timely and accurate submission of military QPL six-month summaries.Actively participates in the development, installation and maintenance ofFailure Rate programs for military QPL programs.Jointly responsible for
