At ABB, we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner.Here, progress is an expectation - for you, your team, and the world.As a global market leader, we'll give you what you need to make it happen.It won't always be easy, growing takes grit.But at ABB, you'll never run alone.Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to:HSE SpecialistThe work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.**You will be mainly accountable for**:- Provides analysis of HSE data within area of responsibility.Reports on progress on the implementation of environmental and sustainability objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) as required.- Contributes to assessing emerging trends and legislation in HSE and communicates relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography.Supports constituent countries to operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations.Submit time critical reports to various government agencies.- Lead Environmental management system based on ISO *****:****- Conduct thorough and accurate environmental audits for continuous improvement.- Foster an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.- Contributes to and/or plans and executes Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility related projects.Develops and reports on project objectives.Manages project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.- Provides training to local teams enabling them to understand and identify risks and other relevant HSE information.May lead a small team.**Qualifications for the role (mandatory)**- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in similar positions.- Extensive knowledge of state/country environmental legal requirements.- Experience with clean industry certification.- Mexican environmental regulations (Profepa, Semarnat, Conagua), environmental management in industrial plants.- Advanced use of Excel and/or indicator control tools.- Knowledge and management of ISO ***** standards.- Microsoft Office.- Focused on environment and sustainability.- Background in Clean Industry, environmental legal requirements, participation in ISO.- Environmental procedures.- Intermediate/advanced English.- Leadership experience.
