Mekra Lang, empresa de giro automotriz solicita supplierSupplier Quality & Development Manager North America.**Requeriments**:- Minimum 7-10 years experience in automotive industry or similar manufacturing setup within Procurement department.- 3-5 years in a leadership role.- English proficiency - Full Professional.German is an advantage.- English/Full Professional Proficiency- VALID VISA & PASSPORT - *****% Travel.- Proven track record with Supplier Development activities.**Skills**:- AIAG / VDA Core tools knowledge is a plus.- Hands-On experience to create effective business processes and procedures required.- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategies for Supplier Sourcing and Cost Savings plan.- Ability to coach in driving consensus and effective negotiation skills for difficult circumstances required.- Significant hands-on experience with statistical analysis.- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite of tools required.- Decision making abilities within the scope of the position.**Basic function**:- Develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers to act as professional liaisons between suppliers, MEKRA Lang, and customers to optimize quality, delivery and cost for assigned parts and products.- Lead the development of the business processes for supplier selection, supplier development, and on-boarding of new suppliers to MEKRA Lang.- Coach, mentor, train and develop the team of Supplier Development.- Develop and deploy AQPQ, PPAP and other core tools with suppliers.- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities (VA/VE) and drive the changes for Purchasing department.- Drive the Cost Saving Initiative along with Procurement Manager to meet the set goals from the management.- Competence with Supplier scouting, identification, and commercial evaluation.- Able to assist Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for auditing suppliers.- Coordinate with SQE for Performance Monitoring of the new suppliers.**Benefics**:- Medical insurance- Life insurance- Savings fund- Food coupons- Gas bonus- Christmas bonus- Vacations- Vacation bonus- OthersTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: A partir de $60,****** al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 10 horasLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
