Specific responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:- Develop and present conclusive assessments of problem responsibilities- Gather complete and timely internal supporting documentation including root cause and supporting corrective actions- Interface with various internal departments to develop cases and present to suppliers gaining concurrence of responsible costs- Negotiate with suppliers to overcome resistance and gain appropriate recovery of costs- Plan, prioritize, set goals, and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment using a wide scope of warranty, financial, purchasing, and vehicles systems.- Strong communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadership.Establish partnerships both internally and externally and to influence without direct authority.- Commitment and dedication in delivering a premier product to the consumer.- Contribute or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdles.- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievements.- Exhibit a willingness to do things differently and consistently translate ideas into actions that deliver results.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and/or manufacturing- Strong communication and presentation skills to support meetings at all levels- High-energy, hands-on individual with strength of conviction who can effectively sell ideas and solutions to others- Undisputed integrity- Microsoft Office suite proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:- Master's degree- Warranty / Quality experience- Data analysis experience- Finance/accounting experience- Ability to drive team success by clarifying expectations and minimizing political hurdles- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to establish partnerships both internally and externally to influence without direct authority
