Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.1. Establish and maintain policies, procedures and practices relating to the management of all accounting related functions including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit policies, billing, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting.2. Maintain adequate accounting system records, ensure timely completion of standard procedures (i.e. period end closing, financial statement analysis, and daily accounting transactions), and consistently enhance controls and business solutions designed to mitigate financial risk.3. Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income and expenses based on past, present, and expected operations.4. Perform variance analysis (e.g., PPV, Cost Revaluation, work order variances), investigate large variances, seek immediate resolution where applicable and provide recommendations for improvement.5. Determine depreciation rates of assets and ensure fixed asset records are properly maintained.6. Work with operations team to track, budget and control manufacturing expenses.7. Performs special projects aimed at supporting various Operational Excellence initiatives, controlling expenses, increasing profits, improving cash flow, and improving efficiencies at the plant.8. Ensure that effective internal controls are adhered to comply with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.9. Exhibit the values and ethics of Milwaukee Electronics through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.10.
