Materials Clerk

The Materials Clerk maintains, controls and reports inventory status in process materials, generates action items to obtain established inventory levels in manufacturing process areas, and suggests and implements process changes in material flow.What you will do: Generate reports for inventory status levels to identify any shortages Data entry for Finish Goods and Subinventory Transfers Place orders to suppliers, receive raw materials and MRO into the system Analyze and solve negatives inventories Notify when finding non-conformaning materials Support manufacturing requirements with materials deliveries to production Generate and maintain records of inventory status by work in process areas Monitor packaging levels and mantain optimal levels Participate in cycle count activities and physical inventory Keep archived and well-organized all formats used in the area Perform periodic audits in the warehouse and on production floor in order to keep the inventory accurate Coordinate shipments of Finish Goods and/or Raw Material to customers and/or external warehouse Assist in various tasks related as required by Materials Manager What we are looking for: High School Diploma Experience in manufacturing environment Experience in manufacturing environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes Knowledge of Office software (Excel) Knowledge of ERP Software is a plus (Oracle)
