**Description****Job Summary**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Serve as the main point of contact between engineering and production teams.- Interpret and communicate engineering drawings, BOMs, scripts, and design intent to shop floor personnel in case of any ambiguity or questions.- Provide technical support and guidance to ensure accurate implementation of engineering designs.- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during production.- Collaborate with engineering to clarify design specifications and intent.- Develop and maintain documentation related to technical support and problem resolution and ensure a close loop with Engineering.- Conduct training sessions for shop floor staff on interpreting engineering documents and best practices.- Continuously improve communication processes between engineering and production teams.- Drive standardization and design for manufacturability concepts into the product design philosophy.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.- Knowledge of transformer design parameters and its significance in modifying or optimizing the design structure.Strong understanding of design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing principles is preferred.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on technical support or liaison roles.- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes in transformer industry.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).
