In this role, the Electrical Hardware/Software Engineer will work on projects to meet customer needs and uphold Pentair’s standards for quality and innovation.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Translate customer needs into the functionality and user interface of our product offering- Execute on projects, while working with a cross functional team, as part of a stage-gate new product development process- Facilitates and implements ideas for new product designs and/or product improvements- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups- Contributes to PCB schematics, layouts, artwork, for electrical designs- Support electrical design control- Develop, validate, and implement product improvements**Skills and Experience Requirement**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Software), or Computer Science- 5 years minimum engineering development experience- 2 years minimum in electrical embedded product development- Proficiency with Altium or electrical/PCB design tools- Experience designing systems with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, or USB**Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer**With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
