-Job descriptionIf you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join our Global Service Center -(GSC) HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Financial Reporting Analyst**(This position could be hired at Mexico City or Guadalajara)**Role purpose**:Finance Operations are looking to establish a new capability in Mexico to support the Latin American sites Argentina, Uruguay & Chile.The Basel Regulatory reporting team is responsible for producing the (Prudential Regulatory Authority) PRA reports and Risk weighted assets (RWA) disclosures in the Group Annual Report & Accounts and for meeting all Pillar 1, Pillar 3 and Regulatory Management Information Reporting requirements under Basel 2/3 Framework.The role will have functional reporting line into the Regulatory Reporting Lead for the Latin America region as well as a local entity manager.The role will be required to support key stakeholders based in Argentina, Uruguay & Chile and collaborate with team members based in India.**Main activities**:- Preparation of regulatory reporting returns RWA within the scope of the local reporting and consolidated reporting to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) in a timely manner and to a high standard.- Contributing to the delivery of European Banking Authority (EBA) and Climate stress testing returns for the bank.- Ensuring excellence in reporting and answers to ad-hoc regulatory requests.- Supporting the delivery of the Regulatory Reporting transformation initiatives including strategic business decisions and mandatory regulatory changes.Requirements- Good knowledge of balance sheet, banking, and financial products and how they impact regulatory reporting and more generically the banking business- Bachelor's degree or minimum, and proven and progressive financial services or banking experience, with a background in regulatory reporting and or Risk- Strong written and oral communicate skills (English).- Ability to communicate complex ideas (e.g., relating to transactions/adoption of policies) in a simple manner to a global audience- Ability to multi-task to ensure compliance with strict deadlines- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations and be able to understand issues quickly- Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented- You'll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.Our paid leave package is at the forefront in Mexico, now you have one more reason to be HSBC and proudly live a culture of well-being, balance and care**Issued by HSBC Electronic Data Processing (México) Private LTD
