**Position Title**:Warehouse Supervisor**Reports To**:Plant Manager**Department**:Operations**Summary of Position **(Paragraph form)**:The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining operating procedures, communicating with Mexico and US brokers, training and allocating work for the proper receipt, handling, storage, count accuracy, transfer, packaging, shipment of products in and out of the warehouse, unboxing, and stocking raw material in the manufacturing plant.**Primary Responsibilities **(Bulleted form)**:- Follow written and verbal instructions- Compliance with all personnel policies- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail in the execution of work instructions, accurately repeating and documenting steps.- Identify and implement process improvements for error-proofing and efficiencies- Participate, as required, on project teams for warehousing and shipping considerations.- Prepare and communicate objectives for the warehouse team and monitor and measure the performance of the team.- Perform inventory movement and processing the respective transactions in the ERP system.- Responsible for Inventory Accuracy in the warehouse and other stocking locations.- Ensure organization and housekeeping of the warehouse.- Ensure proper procedures are followed for storing and transferring inventory to and from the warehouse.- Prepare metrics, as required, for warehouse activities- Communicate with Production, Quality Control, Customer Service and Purchasing as necessary- Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.- Monitors inventory by completing cycle counts daily.- Participates in inventory counts and discrepancy investigations.**Position Requirements - Education, Knowledge, Years of Experience, etc.**(Bulleted form)**:- Warehouse Supervisor should have a High School diploma or equivalent- 5-7 years' experience working in a warehouse environment.- Ability to safely operate a fork truck and obtain an operator's license- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English- This job requires you to alternate between sitting and standing during the entire shift- Continuous execution of repetitive motion.- Frequent execution of lifting supplies and parts weighing up to 50lbs.- Must wear clean room clothing periodically during shift including, but not limited to, jacket, safety glasses, and hair net.- Ability to safely operate a fork truck and obtain an operator's license- Excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to function well in a team environment.- Trained in LEAN principles a plus- Experience in a medical device environment with knowledge of ISO *****, GMP, and FDA regulations.- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
