GTEC Pump Design Engineer page is loaded## GTEC Pump Design Engineerlocations: Torreon, Mexicotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-*******RESPONSIBILITIES*** Create designs drawings, and other documents with the help of CAD tool.* Generates bills of material and manufacturing drawings for engineered products.* Identify new/improved design standard and procedural documents.* Responsible for identifying upgrades opportunities for processes and products.* Perform basic design calculations.* Take ownership of engineering activities.* Collaborate with BU's and GTEC Engineers to improve the Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.* Have strong collaboration with project team.* Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.* Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record & report findings, make corrections & help develop and implement permanent, cost-effective solutions.* Identify new/improved design standard and procedural documents.* Responsible for identifying upgrades opportunities for processes and products.* Provide technical support to internal and external customers.* Delivery on time engineering deliverables.* Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gathers approvals at the first issue.* Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.**QUALIFICATIONS*** Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline.* 0 - 2 years of related experience.* Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design.(SolidWorks and DraftSight, preferred)* Analytical, problem solving and computer skills.* Good planning, time management and organizational skills.* Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.* Fluent in English, both conversational and written.* Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette.**COMPETENCES AND BEHAVIORS*** Creative thinker, Vibrant, good team player & Problem solver* Demonstrated decision-making skills.* Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.* Good engineering subject knowledge.* Detailed knowledge of engineering product, design principles and processes.* Team collaboration* Respect Flowserve values and Code of Conduct* Collaborative interpersonal skills.#J-*****-Ljbffr
